Treatment Therapies
BioMed drainage practitioners use a variety of different treatment approaches that you may be familiar with, such as vitamins, minerals and nutraceuticals. The focus here is on energetic treatment therapies, such as those included below.
These unique compounds have been used for over a century to help support the body's natural detox processes. These remedies are carefully crafted using small amounts of plants and metals chosen for their specific benefits to different organ systems, such as the nervous system, hormonal system, or digestion.
What makes UNDA compounds special is their ability to work inside the cells, supporting the body’s natural processes to remove toxins—both those made by the body (endogenous) and those from the environment (exogenous). They help clear out physical toxins and emotional stress stored at a cellular level, helping cells regain their balance and function properly.

The word "gemmotherapy" comes from the Latin word gemma, which means "bud" or "seed." Gemmotherapy uses the buds, young shoots, and rootlets of plants because these are the "baby" parts of the plant, full of life and energy. Since these parts are in an active growth phase, they contain the highest concentration of healing properties.
To make gemmotherapy remedies, the plant buds are gently soaked in a mixture of glycerin, water, and alcohol. This process captures a wide range of natural compounds that would be lost as the plant matures. The resulting liquid is carefully prepared to preserve the plant's healing energy and diluted to a mild potency, known as Hahnemann 1x (D1).
Gemmotherapy works by tapping into the vitality of young plant tissues, supporting the body’s natural ability to heal and regenerate.

Phyto-therapeutic macerates are similar to gemmotherapy, only more concentrated and offer more energetic healing. Both gemmotherapies and phyto-therapy macerates utilize buds or young shoots of plants and are prepared through maceration in a blend of water, alcohol, and glycerin. However, the key distinction lies in the final product: phyto-therapeutic macerates are undiluted, serving as a pure, concentrated “mother tincture,” whereas gemmotherapies undergo a process of dilution and potentization.
Some manufacturers enhance the vitality of phytotherapy macerates by using dynamized water and a gentle maceration process that ensures the buds remain "alive.” This preserves their energetic imprint. As a result, these macerates are capable of addressing health concerns on a lesional, functional, energetic, and even spiritual level.
Phyto-therapeutic macerates are available as single herbs or a synergistic blend of multiple herbs.

Homeopathic remedies Homeopathy was founded in the late 18th century by the German physician Samuel Hahnemann. It is based on two fundamental principles: “like cures like” (the law of similars) and the use of highly diluted substances to stimulate the body's self-healing mechanisms.
With the Law of Similars, a remedy, if taken in a large dose, produces symptoms similar to those being treated. In its homeopathic form, which is the energetic state, the remedy will alleviate those same symptoms. For example, a remedy derived from a substance like coffee, which in its material form can cause sleeplessness and nervousness, may be used in its homeopathic form to treat insomnia and restlessness.
Homeopathic remedies are made from a variety of herbs, metals, animal tissue etc. They are diluted and potentized by shaking vigorously, a process known as succussing. This enhances the remedy’s energetic properties while eliminating toxicity.
Homeopathy is prescribed based on a person’s physical, emotional, and mental symptoms so that the most suitable remedy can be chosen.

Tissue salts, also known as cell salts, were introduced in the 19th century by German physician Dr. Wilhelm Heinrich Schüßler. His innovative theory suggested that many health issues arise from mineral imbalances at the cellular level. These twelve mineral preparations, naturally found in the human body, play a vital role in supporting and maintaining cellular health.
The key function of tissue salts is to address mineral deficiencies within the cells. By introducing essential minerals into the cellular environment, tissue salts enhance cell function, restore balance, and promote the body’s ability to self-regulate. When cells function optimally, they contribute to healing processes, support overall wellness, and help prevent the onset of disease.
Safe, gentle, and suitable for individuals of all ages, tissue salts are widely used to manage a variety of health concerns, ranging from everyday ailments to chronic conditions.

Dr. Louis Joseph Lux, in the 1800s, was the first to utilize organ tissues to treat animals. Organotherapy evolved from his work utilizing dynamized tissue from specific organs or glands to create low-potency homeopathic remedies that stimulate, regulate, or improve the function of the corresponding tissues in patients. Minute, potentized amounts of organ-specific substances can restore balance and function to that organ or gland, such as the liver or thyroid.

In the 1950s, Dr. Jacques Menetrier, a French physician, used small concentrations of minerals instead of the more common large doses used in nutritional supplements. Oligotherapy uses essential trace minerals suspended in a liquid that is administered sublingually to increase enzymatic processes in every cell. Because the minerals are in small physiological dosages, they are rapidly absorbed and directly delivered to the cells.

Originally developed by Dr. Edward Bach in 1938, flower essences are a distinct form of energy medicine, as each flower carries a unique vibration or energetic signature. These essences transmit the healing vibrations of the flowers to shift physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual patterns, release negative emotions, and promote positive emotional states. Currently, hundreds of essences from all over the world are available. Typically, 3 – 5 flower remedies are combined, and a person takes them 3 – 5 times daily.
